Guangdong HeYi New Material Research Institute Co., Ltd. was established in October 2015 in Huangpu District, Guangzhou. It is a service provider and product developer/manufacturer focusing on thermal management and thermal control system solutions based on superconducting thermal material technology. It is a new type of R&D institution in Guangdong Province and a national high-tech enterprise.

HeYi's superconducting thermal materials have excellent engineering adaptability and can be applied in many fields, including data centers, medical care, lighting, new energy, electric power, electronics, transportation, and home appliances. Adhering to the development strategy of military-civilian integration, the thermal control system products developed by the company have been applied in the civilian field. Civilian directions include green data centers, edge computing, high-frequency magnet cooling, high-power LED lamp heat dissipation, etc. Among them, spray liquid cooling and high-power LED heat dissipation are the main drafting units of national standards.

In May 2018, the company established the "Guangdong HeYi Thermal Control Technology Academician Workstation" led by 7 academicians and participated by 3 well-known experts and professors. It has conducted research on scientific and technical issues in thermal management in general fields and thermal control in special industries. It has been officially recognized as Guangzhou Academician Expert Enterprise Workstation and Guangdong Academician Expert Workstation. As of February 2024, the company has been authorized 249 patents, including 67 invention patents. The core technology of "chip-level spray liquid cooling technology" has applied for patent protection in the United States, Japan, Germany, Singapore, France, India, and Taiwan, China.

Tested by a third party, its energy consumption standard, PUE value <1.1, has reached the world's advanced level. This series of products has passed the recognition of high-tech products and won high-tech awards many times, and has been selected into the National Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Green Energy Saving Catalog for 4 consecutive years. The "Liquid Cooling (Spray Type) Technical Requirements" data center industry standard, "Spray Type Direct Liquid Cooling Data Center Design Specification" and "Data Center Spray Type Liquid Cooling Server System Technical Requirements and Test Methods" national standards written by the company have been approved and promulgated.
